Adelaide Clemens

Born and raised from Brisbane Australia. The daughter of an English father. Clemens was a model on Australian television when she was still in highschool. She starred in the role of Juliet in an episode of Blue Water High in 2006 and then starred in a role as Alison in The Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji children's television show in 2007. Clemens appeared as Harper for her role on the Showtime drama Love My Way that year and was nominated for a Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding New Talent at the 2008 Logie Awards for the role. Clemens was a part of Sigrid, Xavier, Samuel Linda Cropper Andrew McFarlane in 2008's MTV Networks Australia Dramatic Film Dream Life. In 2009 she was in small roles on All Saints as well as the film X-Men Origins Wolverine. Clemens played the role of Jan Logan's Jewelery during that same year. Clemens transferred to Los Angeles California, USA in 2009. Clemens starred in the 2010 movie Wasted on the Young as Xandrie. In 2012, Clemens starred in Camilla Dickinson, alongside Gregg Sulkin, Cary Elwes as well as Samantha Mathis. It was a dramatization of Madeleine L'Engle's 1951 novel with the same title. Clemens portrayed Heather Mason as a teenager and was in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The film's horror plot is based upon Silent Hill 3, a Survival horror game. The film was also an expansion of Silent Hill. Clemens played the role of Valentine Wannop, a suffragette in Parade's End. Clemens appeared in the 2012 terror film, No One Lives starring Luke Evans. She appeared as well in The Great Gatsby (2013) the film that was inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same name. Catherine Wilson was Isla's mother. Clemens stars as Tawney Talbot in the 2013 Sundance Channel television mini-series Rectify created by Ray McKinnon. Natalie Dormer, Stephen Graham and Zachary Quinto will join her in The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
