Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress who is well-known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner became famous at the National Theatre. The same year, she released her first music album called The album is Tina Time. Louise made her foray into Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film was praised widely as well as Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's pupil. Louise joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary, although she was an effective television director in numerous series, including Supernatural & The 100. Born on August 28, 1965, in Essex. When she was three, her family relocated her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. After being chosen in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there ever since.
